Welcome to Web Cites!
Greetings! I am Peggy and I would like to welcome you to SWIIC. I will be here as a director/guide to assure this site becomes what you all expect it to be. However, I will need you to direct/guide me to that result. To get started I would like to outline a brief overview of what we are trying to do with SWIIC.
The website was created to provide easier access to area businesses and resources. This community of Southwestern Indiana county web pages will be constantly evolving as new business and helpful resources come online. We want you to be a part of this growing community by sending us links, comments or information about your community.
What sources of information should you expect to find here? It is the intention of SWIIC to include web content that is informative. Site links found on SWIIC pages are provided in an effort to bring local community resources into an easy to navigate central location. It is not our policy to direct users to any specific website. Any local business, organization or government site may be included as long as the site follows the intended focus of SWIIC. With that said, SWIIC will be what your community is. Built of what your community is doing.
In addition to community information our ‘Web Cites’ columns will feature topics to help you better understand and use the Internet. Again, the focus is intended for users in your communities so ask questions, send comments, and let us know what to include.
